Been a while...
So, it has been a while since I posted. Things have been crazy hectic busy recently. Carrie and I have spent the last week remembering a godly Christian woman we both loved who recently went to be with her Lord and Savior. Grandma Ottis will be remembered and missed greatly! Grandma was very happy to have met her one and only great-grandson Josiah before she went home to be with the Lord. How she loved holding him and showing him off to everyone at Eventide Assisted Living in Moorehead, MN.
Grandma's faith was abundantly evident with whomever she interacted with! I will miss the long conversations while I was driving home from my last sales call! I will always treasure Grandma allowing me to call her Grandma. Her love will remain with me for the rest of my life. Thank you Grandma Ottis for allowing me into your life and for touching my life so profoundly!

Goodbye for now...
Last Friday, my dear Grandma Ottis went home to be with her Savior. Grandma was a wonderful friend to Joshua and me, and we will miss her greatly. I am so thankful that she was in my life for as long as she was, considering that Grandma would have been 94 this May. We both so enjoyed talking with Grandma on the phone, and we always knew she was praying for us. Grandma loved meeting Josiah (her first and only great grandchild) when we visited her in February. I'll always remember how she was so excited to hear that we were expecting and how she said she never thought she would be a great-grandma. It was so special seeing her hold Josiah, and we're so thankful that the Lord allowed her to meet him. Josiah will not remember meeting her, but we'll tell him about his great-grandma and her love for Jesus.
Grandma is rejoicing now. We're left behind with the memories and the blessed hope that when we said goodbye to Grandma in person in February, it was goodbye only for a season. We will see Grandma again.
