Tonight was our final night this season with the River City Rats church softball team. We ended our season with our record in tact...0 - 9...meaning, we were successful at losing every game with a terrific attitude. :)
Carrie scored her first run tonight by doing her version of sliding across home plate. You can ask Carrie later about it...:)
I am very proud of her getting out there every game and playing considering she had never played softball before. Her game really improved over the last couple of months and I'm looking forward to seeing her play next season.
BTW...East Coast buddies, Janice was also on our squad and made an AMAZING stop tonight at third base as well as catching a line drive over her head robbing the other team of at least a double. :)

Yeah, baby! I loved playing 3rd base...I think it is my spot. Between the new in/outfield assignments and the batting line-up (especially w/you and Carrie going 1-2) Thursday's game was so fun!!
