Long overdue post...

Well, a great deal has been happening in the Briggs' household since the last posting. Between trips to see Karsten and Kim and the kids in San Diego to my business trip to Jacksonville (where I got sick with a nasty cold) to taking a trip to North Dakota, we have been a very busy family.

Seeing Karsten and Kim and their kids in San Diego was a phenomenal treat for Carrie and I and Josiah. We so enjoyed our time with them and can't wait to do it again except this time do it for a longer time. :)

North Dakota was awesome seeing Grandma Ottis as well as being on the farm and seeing extended family. Josiah did awesome on his first airplane trip across the country. You wouldn't have even known there was a baby on board the plane. :) Of course, his Great-Grandma Ottis was thrilled to finally meet her one and only great-grandchild.

And the hands have it again...

Josiah was in the middle of telling us something...

Wow, Dad, that flash is BRIGHT!

Molly, thanks for the outfit, we LOVE it and it fits him so well!

The Sleeping Boys...

Jackson and Harrison get in on the nap time action with Josiah

Harrison is wondering why Dad is bothering us with the camera flash when he is trying to sleep

Jackson, on the other hand, is wondering if he could snag one of Josiah's toys while he sleeps...

Thanks to Molly Bradley for the clothes...they are really coming in handy!

San Diego Weekend...

Carrie, Josiah and I had a fantastic weekend with my brother Karsten's family in San Diego last weekend. It was so worth the trip! The cousins got to play together, Karsten and I had some brotherly bonding time playing Nerf Football in the street with the boys and just talking, and Kim and Carrie had some quality time sharing and enjoying each other's company.

We are looking forward to doing it again although for a longer period. :) And possibly taking Southwest down instead of driving... :)

We'll see...

Josiah and Eden...

It's hard to believe that 7.5 wks is all that separates them and yet this is evidence of the change that happens so quickly.
