Rough night...

Carrie and I definitely had it easy for the first couple of weeks and then the last couple of nights have been fairly rough with Josiah having diaper rash really bad so that hampered his sleeping and eating routine. Poor little guy!

Carrie and I have been lathering up his diaper rash with special ointment after cleaning his area and we are praying for a quick healing so he can get back on routine especially with me returning to work next week.

The only humorous moments have come with Jackson and his "concern" over Josiah...basically, wanting to sleep in the chair or bed with Josiah...to make him "feel" better of course...

May you have a blessed day in the Word and in our Lord Jesus Christ!

Thanksgiving blessings....

The Lord Jehovah has been so immensely gracious in His grace and mercy in our lives. Carrie and I are so blessed by the safe delivery of our son, Josiah Kenneth. The Lord has so richly blessed us with Carrie's rapid recovery. It is so amazing to me how the Lord created supernaturally the human body to withstand the process of child birth and then allow for such a rapid healing of the body.

Additionally, we are so blessed to have the immense support network of friends and family. Our immediate family has been so supportive with my parents, Bruce and Darla Briggs, being so close by and supportive! Our church family at River City Grace Community Church is another huge blessing from on High! We feel so blessed to have been led to River City Grace within a few short months of having moved here from Virginia in 2005.

May each and every one of us take some time today to reflect on the goodness and greatness of our Lord and how He has bestowed every good gift in our lives!
