The change from 7 cm dilated to 9 cm dilated happened within ONE hour without the use of medications. Carrie was funny. The doctor came in and mention that the epidural seemed to be working well and Carrie said "I'm NOT on drugs!" The doctor looked confused until I clarified that she meant she wanted to go natural. :)

Congratulations! Josiah is adorable, and Carrie looks amazingly beautiful before and after delivery! Wow. We're eagerly awaiting the arrival of our baby boy (due Jan 1st), and we have the exact same carseat as you guys ;) Congrats again and God Bless!

I'm so happy for Carrie's healthy and quick delivery of baby Josiah! In this day and age, a drug-free "non-intervention" hospital delivery is rare -- especially for a first timer :-)
But, of course, we know that all the praise goes to God -- but Carrie gets some credit for being confident, in good physical shape, and having a great coach!
Congrats Josh and Carrie! What a cute baby! Josiah, welcome to the world!
